Dear Journal,
We went to Cinccinati to see the ATP Mens semi-finals tournament in July 2007. It was about 110 miles and 2 hours to get there. Cinccinati is southwest from Columbus. We stayed in Homestead Hotel. My Dad and myself went to watch the match. We sat in the very top row in the stadium. The players were Roger Federer vs. Hewitt. I really enjoyed their play. And Roger Federer won the match. After that game was over we walked around for a while. Then my dad gave me some lemonade. I did not drink that much. After i was done drinking my lemonade, we went to another court and watched other players play. Then my dad told me that there was another tennis match that night. When it was dark we went back to the stadium to watch the other match between James Blake and David. We only watched it for 15 minutes because I got sleepy. So we went back to our hotel. We got to our hotel at about 10:30 PM. We ate dinner and went to bed. The next morning we woke up to pack our stuff. When we were done packing we left our hotel room and came back home. We all had our dinner and we went to bed.

My Trip To Dayton
July 10
Dear Journal,
My mom woke me up a little late. She said that we were going to Dayton's National Museum of the US Air Force. I got really excited. When we were ready to go my brother got all excited. When we hit the road my brother got even more excited. The drive was very long. It was about 75 miles away from here. When we got to the Air Force Museum it was very very cool to see all the airplanes in the past. Then we went to this room where there was remote control airplane. It was very cool to see the spinning fans on it. When we left that place, we went to this big place with airplanes that were so big and it was cool. After a while my mom wanted to rest for a little bit. Then my dad wanted to go somewhere else. This other place was full of airplanes too. There was this cool airplane that shows the inside and we had to go under it so we could actually see inside. After that there was this airplane that was not like a airplane and for a second I thought it was an aileon space ship. But my dad told me that it was a machine but I don't remember the name. Then we left that place and we found this very high ceiling room that was full of space shuttles. It also had an elevator so we can get a better view of them. Then we left the museum and drived back home. It got dark in the middle of our drive. We got home by 7:00 PM and had our dinner. We went to bed at 9:00 PM.
In September 2008, we lost power due big wind storm. We were without power for 8 days. So we travelled to Toledo, where my Dad used to work. We stayed in Extended Stay hotel for 4 days.
I got really excited. When we were ready to go my brother was really excited that we were going out. Then after about an hour my brother started to get all cranky and my mom gave him some food to calm him down. My brother doesn't like long drives when he was young. Then after a while my dad pulled into the rest area for a short break. I just got a drink and sat in the car. My dad came back 5 minutes later. Then we hit the road again. My brother was asleep as we hit the road. He woke up just after we got to our hotel. When we were there we went around the city. We ate our dinner at an Indian Restaurant one night and another night we had pizza. My Mom cooked for the rest of the days. We came back on the weekend.

My Trip To Nelsonville
June 11
Dear Journal,
We went to Nelsonville to get on a train ride. It is about 70 miles and took us 1 hour to get there. When we got there we got on the train and they gave us a special tour while we were in the train. The first stop was a cabin and the inside was like a classroom in the old days and there were only benches that have no tip so we can rest our backs. Then we walked around and I spotted a giant yellow snake with a guitar player. Then after a while we had our lunch like a picnic. Then we got back on the train for the next stop. The next stop was a big field with nothing and we had to stay in the train so we can look at the plain field. Then we went back to the place we came from. After we got off from the train we got in the car and started to drive back home. We were home in the afternoon. We rested for a while.

My Trip To The Zoo
December 11
Dear Journal,
My Dad and I went to the columbus zoo to see animals. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. When we got to the zoo we got tickets and went inside. After a while we went into a tent that had lots of cool stuff. It had a train and stuff like that. Then we went to the animals and I saw an elephant. They were big. Then we went to merry go round I got on it, it was fun and I even got a little bit dissy when I got off. Then we went to see a girraffe and they were soooooooooooo tall and they had big big trees around their home. Then when it started to get dark we went into a dining hall that was there. And we ran into our friends there. Then we went home.

My Trip To Toledo
